The Birthplace of Shimoni Turtle Watch (STW), a dynamic non-profit Community Based Organisation (CBO) passionately dedicated to the protection of turtles and their habitats.

Conceived by a vibrant team of committed youth on May 2021, armed with professional backgrounds in marine conservation, and local community members well-versed in grassroots conservation efforts, STW emerged as a beacon of hope for marine ecosystems. Established on the principle of nurturing both passion and expertise, our youth-led turtle conservation group aspires to carve a positive destiny for these incredible creatures and the vast marine landscapes they call home.
